LTM: 6th July ’19

Dear Eliza

I love that today is a good day. That this week has been a good week. You know, it’s all down to you. You held on. You didn’t give up. When you were freaking out, desperate to self harm, use, and destroy yourself and the good things, you held on. You didn’t act on it. You may have been freaking out, you were, yet you held on. Remember that for next time.

The going will get tough. What you were freaking out about – that you can’t create a life for yourself, you don’t deserve to – will probably come up again. That and other things. You’ll want to destroy yourself. And, it’s okay. For it will pass. And you’ll get through it stronger than you were. More secure. Having worked through some of it. Just hold on…

Hold on Eliza, always. It is worth it. This journey is worth it. It’s a journey filled with ups and downs. It’s a journey of learning,. Of learning who you are. Remember that letter you wrote to yourself about the journey? It is a journey. One I am so grateful you are taking. It so could have been otherwise. You could have given in any point along the way. Yet, you didn’t. You held on.

You held on.

Hold on to life Eliza. Hold on to how worth it you, and this journey you are travelling, is and will be.

I’m looking forward to being with you on this ride. You are one of the most awesome people I have met and I’m looking forward to getting to know you. I’m looking forward to discovering who you are. I’m looking forward. To see where life can and will take us.

Just hold on.

It always is, and always will be worth it.

Just hold on.

I love you Eliza.

Always and forever

  1. Keep on holding on Eliza – life is tough, because just when you think the going is great, something else comes along and leaves you reeling. But in the end, all the little things that you have to endure will make you stronger in the end. If everything was too easy, we’d have no challenges (even though they are a pain you know where sometimes). P.S. – I like that you said “Hold on E, always. It is worth it. ” Are you “E” sometimes too? Or more “Eliza”?

  2. Perfect way, Eliza, to weave your thoughts, in all their honesty, into a tapestry that celebrates your determination. The triumphs, the meeting and surpassing of challenges, it’s all here.

You don’t write these letters only to yourself, Eliza; you have a “public” that can’t wait to hear what’s next. We recognize, with a knowing nod, many of the thoughts you have, and celebrate with you as you help us realize there are others….

    You’re there for us

    1. This is so nice of you. Thank you. You make me wonder if I should type out more of them.
      How are you doing?
      Happy Tuesday!
      Love, light and glitter

  3. Keep holding on. Don’t ever let go!
I love these letters you write to yourself. I feel like they’re my own words coming form someone else.

I'd love to hear your thoughts
